Since the beginning the technical department
has been the strength of Bertocco s.r.l. Here, under the
direction and responsibility of the technical management,
different activities take place. .
Organization Chart
Components
and devices design:
to develop new valves and components for pneumatic brake and
suspension systems and lighting system for commercial and
industrial vehicles.
Design makes use of the newest CAD-CAM systems (2D and 3D)
and dedicated softwares to obtain reliable drawings and calculations.
To gain the approval for marketing, every project is checked
and validated according with the strictest quality standards
imposed by ISO 9001:2000, to guarantee a perfect correspondence
between the original project and the obtained result.
- System design:
system design's task is to study and
define different braking, suspension and electrical systems;
every system is designed according with customer's own needs.
Once the proper solution is find, the system drawings and
the component list are prepared.
- Testing laboratory:
the testing laboratory is responsible to carry out the tests
on new products, as well as a lot of simulations on braking,
suspension and electrical systems.
The testing laboratory is provided with tools and gauged
measuring systems to perform functional, fatigue and environmental
(high and low temperature and sea fog) tests; these tests
can assure the correspondence between the declared and the
real performances of Bertocco's products.
Technical
assistance:
every customer is supported throughout the various phases
that lead to a system installation:
- design of the braking system by simulation of the vehicle's
performances (using an internally developed software);
- braking calculations execution according with 98/12/EC
Directive; these calculations can be used by the customer
as technical documentation to obtain the omologation of
the vehicle;
- assistance for system installing;
- assistance for omologation tests according with 98/12/EC
Directive;
- telephonic and on site assistance;
- training courses on Bertocco's valves, ABS and EBS systems,
and braking systems in general.
