Bertocco was set up in 1962 as a precision machine shop. Over the years, the company has grown to become a highly regarded designer and manufacturer of pneumatic equipment and fittings for commercial vehicles.
In this sector Bertocco has applied planned strategies and well-articuled projects to extend the product range and to provide the customers with comprehensive assistance in every stage of getting a new brake system off the drawing board and on to the road, from design and development right through to prompt field service.

The technical department is one strong point of Bertocco.
The entire design process is performed using information technology methods CAD/CAM as well as managerial systems which guarantee precise drawings and computations.
Each product is the result of continuous analyses and complex calculations and must comply with the strictest quality standards before obtaining the Bertocco trademark.
Repeated controls, according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard verify the congruency between the initial design and the result obtained.

The Testing Lab is provided with calibrated measuring and test equipments to carry out functional, environmental and life tests, which guarantee that declared performances are attained.

In the nineties to obtain appropriate and prompt answers to the customer specific requirements Bertocco has formed a new team “System Design” inside the technical department.
This team specializes in study and development of personalized braking systems, suspensions and auxiliaries, with kit diagrams and parts lists including valves, fittings and lines.
